Almond milk powder to make instant kesar badam milk

Instant Almond Milk Powder

Coming to today’s recipe, it’s a healthy or should I say super healthy drink that we have heard a lot about, and have been drinking since childhood days. However, the process of making Almond Milk at home seems too tedious to try these days.

As we all are busy with the 9-5, weekend to weekend lives, the long process soaking, peeling and grinding the nuts is far too typical to try. This instant badam milk powder recipe will bring you, that much needed, relaxation and those cherished memories with a smile.

It’s pretty obvious that  Badam Milk/ Kesar Badam Milk/ Saffron almond milk/badam milkshake whatever you like to call this drink, it’s very healthy and nutritious for everyone. I mean it has, saffron, almonds, pistachios, and milk along with some spices, how can it not be healthy, right? 

Badam Milk Powder

Another great thing about this very old yet trendy drink is you can have it in any weather. So if it’s cold and snowy at your place, you can drink it hot. If it’s sunny and hot you can make this Almond milk chill it in the fridge and have it cold. Or you may mix some vanilla ice cream to turn this chilled drink into and Badam milkshake. 

All you need is this simple recipe for badam milk powder, Once you make this powder recipe, add a tsp to 1.5 tsp to a glass of boiling whole milk cook for 2-3 minutes or more for a thicker/ richer drink. Add sugar to taste and serve this milk hot or cold.

A ready to use powder of nuts and spices to be added to milk and boiled to obtain a tasty Saffron almond milk

  1. Almonds:15
  2. Pistachios:10-15
  3. Saffron thread:10-12
  4. Green Cardamon :5-6
  5. Black Cardamom :1-2
  6. Start Anise: 1/4 piece
  7. Nutmeg:1(to be grated in the milk while boiling)*
  1. Take out the seeds of cardamoms mix and pulse all the ingredients in a grinder till a fine powder is formed. Do not grind the nutmeg.*
  2. Make sure not to grind but pulse this mixture, this way you will prevent the oil from the nuts to separate, else the powder can turn into paste.
  3. To make milk badam,
  4. Boil whole milk add 1 tbsp per glass of this almond milk powder, desired amount of sugar and grate a pinch of nutmeg powder while the milk is still cooking. Serve hot or chilled
